6th Grade ELA
My high school was Abington Senior High, the home of the Galloping Ghosts! My favorite teacher was Mr. Richard Bell! He made science fun for us! The last college I graduated from was Rosemont College. My graduation day was a happy day for me because my husband and children got to see me walk down the isle and receive my degree. They were so proud of me!
I started teaching in August 1999! There are so many wonderful students and families I have meet and taught along the way! This will be my first year teaching at RAPCS! I look forward to more great experiences as your teacher, as well as serving and getting to know you.
Prior to coming to RAPCS, I was an ELA Instructional Coach. In this role, I continued to work and teach students and teachers. My favorite part of being a coach was being back in the classroom to have the opportunity to teach new concepts and ideas. I will use all my new learning and knowledge to help my students grow into stronger readers, writers, and thinkers.
I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy family trips, going to the movies, and having barbecues in our backyard. We do not have any pets of our own. My mom and dad have a dog named Bella. My sons love to visit them! I enjoy being a mom. This year I got to see my son, Danny, graduate from high school and my other son, Cory, complete Kindergarten!
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy gardening, swimming, and taking walks with my family. At times, I just like to relax at home and take naps on my couch with my warm fuzzy blanket.
