Math Curriculum for the 2020-2021 school year:
This year we'll be using a math curriculum called Eureka Math in all grades. Eureka Math is aligned to the PA Common Core Standards. The Eureka Math curriculum helps build number sense and conceptual understanding.
Math fluency is important in the middle years. Students need to continue to work on fluency throughout his or her educational experience. Flashcards that review addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts are an excellent way to keep your skills sharpened. Once these facts are mastered, students can begin to work on exponents, square roots, and cube roots. If you are looking for websites for students to practice math, check the educational website link
Would you like to help your child with math homework? Would you like to know more about what is being taught in math class? Would you like to brush up on your math skills? The documents posted in the parent resources section will give you an insight on what concepts are being taught and how they are being taught in the classroom.
