Create a poster in Google Drawings for our school here at Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School

 

Ø  The best poster will win a small prize

Ø  Come up with a slogan

Ø  Insert 5-7 images

Ø  What type of bullying are you talking about?

Ø  Physical – Hitting, kicking, punching, making mean or rude hand gestures

Ø  Verbal – Name Calling, insults, teasing, intimidation, inappropriate sexual comments, threatening to cause harm, etc.

Ø  Social – Lying & spreading rumors, leaving someone out on purpose, telling others not to be friends with someone, damaging someone’s reputation

Ø  Cyber bullying – Posting/sending hurtful texts emails or posts, images or videos, making online threats, deliberately excluding others online

Ø  Take your time and create a quality poster with an anti-bullying message

PROJECT:  Cyber-bullying Writing Assignment


1.  Using a search engine that you choose, research an article on one of the following real-life examples of people who have been cyber-bullied: (do not use Wikipedia)

2.  Find and read just one article on one of the above-mentioned people.

3.  Using a sheet of paper and a pen*, you will write three paragraphs as follows:        

    a.  The first paragraph will be a summary of the article you read.

                    Questions: What is this article about?  How did cyber-bullying affect them?
